The Three Storms
The Three Storms is a creative production agency that specializes in delivering captivating visual content through stills, motion, and production. With a focus on quality and innovation, we aim to create compelling visual narratives that leave a lasting impression through stunning photography, dynamic film, or seamless production services.
We are a full-service social good creative studio that provides content creation, brand development, production design, and web development that uses Indigenous Knowledges as a prompt and provocateur for seeing, thinking, and doing things differently.
Founded by award-winning documentary photographer and Andrew D Flanagan and elder Dig Jones, Earth Legacy’s creative approach is rooted in collective knowledge and collaborative practice. Using traditional sense making processes, We integrate traditional Indigenous wisdom and ancient ways of knowing into the foundation of all our projects. This approach transforms not only how we approach our work but also the lasting impact it has. We focus not on the What but on the How, not the Things but the Processes. By doing so, create a stronger foundation for all aspects of our creative work, that flowing out into our clients, their customers, and with each project come one step closer to the goal of bringing everyone back into their role as custodians of creation, living in harmony with the land and each other. This is our mission, and this is our legacy.
The only thing we can leave behind for all those coming after are the tools - and the only tools that will last and always be relevant is Good Story.
What. Who. Where. Why.
It's not about the What, but the How. Not the Things, but the Processes. The Why we do it this way and the lasting effect it can have over the next 7 generations that sets Us, and the work we do apart.
As a full-service digital studio, we offer everything from web design and branding, to photography and film, editing, writing, consultation and traditional knowledge integration. That is the key, the centre point of all our work. That is at the core that drives every shutter click, every line of code, every layout, every event, every interaction.
Indigenous Knowledge carries the patterns, systems, methods, and protocols necessary to save the world, and we integrate this wisdom into everything we do. Our studio brings together First Nations creatives and their allies, uniting around a digital campfire to craft a future where every story is heard, every voice is valued, and every action is a step towards a more just and regenerative world using Traditional Ecological Knowledge and cultural knowledge to inspire and drive our work, using the thinking processes behind them to innovate and to seek new insights into the complex crises that threaten our earth and our communities. This is the start of all of our work. Our work, whether its a photoshoot, web development, product design or branded content, is rooted in collective knowledge and collaborative practice. We bring together creatives from backgrounds all over the world from their native lands, and sit in Wangu, what can best be translated into collective sense making. We all come together, sitting around the same campfire, sharing stories and lore and letting your project emerge from that process. This foundational connection to place, community, and spirit guides every aspect of our work, and leaves a profound impact that we have when people view our work.
Our Why. Our Vision. Our Mission. Our Legacy.
At the core of our ethos lies the belief that giving is not just an action but a way of being. It's about honoring the interconnectedness of all life and recognizing our responsibility as custodians of creation.
Napagi Napagi, a word from the central desert people of Australia, Give Give, embodies a deep sense of reciprocity and giving, where there is no give and take, just pure giving. It is this ethos that drives our decision to operate as a not-for-profit creative studio, to give, to both our clients we work with, the community we work in, and people all over the world that need help in starting their dream.
Through our photography, we capture more than just images; we capture stories, traditions, and the essence of communities. Our films are not just visual narratives; they are a testament to the resilience and beauty of cultures. In our writing, we aim to amplify voices that have long been silenced, sharing stories that connect us to our past and inspire us for the future. At the same time as meeting your needs - these things, these ways of approaching your work, are the foundational structures to how we work, and it allows you to stand on a stronger structure, and connect on a deeper level with the people you want to reach. At the same time, knowing your work with us is doing good elsewhere in the world.
Through the ITA Foundation, we extend our reach to those who may not have access to our services, offering mentorship programs, educational resources, and financial support. This allows us to empower individuals and communities, helping them to reclaim their narratives and shape a brighter future.
Our commitment to giving back is not just a part of our work; it's a part of who we are. It's a reminder that by coming together and supporting one another, we can create a world where all voices are heard, all stories are valued, and all people are given the opportunity to thrive.
Telling good story that is rooted in place, in truth, and in lore. That is how we change the world. That is how we leave a real legacy.
Our work is more than just making things look beautiful, and it far from window dressing; it's about telling meaningful stories and creating connections that go beyond the digital space. Experiences with people, brands, stories that are rooted in Good Story, in Right Way, which is desperately needed in our world today.
How we do this is starting with holistic approach to creativity. From our worldview, we know that everything is interconnected, and we strive to create work that reflects this interconnectedness, from those spaces in between that connect us all. Whether we are designing a website, capturing a photograph, or editing a film, we consider the impact our work will have on the environment, the community, and future generations, and build our relation to an audience through traditional way, working with first nations creatives of that place, and aligning the vision through their way, and their teachings. This is where it starts. The result connects and touches people in ways that are hard to define, but are felt, and talked about for time to come.
Who We've Worked With
Everything is interconnected in this world. Everything in relation. We strive to create work that reflects this interconnectedness - which is why we have what we are calling a holistic approach to creativity. We understand that whether we are designing a website, capturing a photograph, or editing a film, we consider the impact our work will have on the environment, the community, and future generations.
This comes through stories. Storytelling is at the heart of all indigenous cultures, and its the traditional stories that come from the land, that are rooted in place, with lore, that have the power to inspire, educate, and transform.
Our approach to knowledge and governance mirrors the fractal pattern of custodial relations found in Indigenous cultures around the world. From individual connections to broader tribal networks, we operate as a collective of collectives. We bridge common protocols across cultures, reviving forgotten traditions for those seeking to reconnect, and to take those first steps in bringing everyone back under the lore of the land - and that starts with the work we do.
By incorporating these ways of creating work, of sharing story, braiding it into your business' framework, you can not only produces exceptional products and work, but also contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive future, and be a part of a conversation we all desperately need to have.
The stories we tell connect with people in a whole other way they cannot put their finger one - but they can feel it. This is the magic that comes from our old people. This is the way to make real, long lasting impact. This is the way to be a part of leaving a legacy for generations to come.
Special thanks to our nonprofit partners

Take a seat by the fire, bring your story round, and be a part of the legacy.
We are the inheritors of the wisdom of three generations past. The caretakers of the legacy we will leave for three generations to come. What will your contribution to the story be?
We have all heard the phrase sitting in front of the fire. If you have a hearth in the wall you can only sit in front of the fire. But if you’re sitting around a fire where’s the front? You think I’m in the front, the other fella on the other side is in front of it, so it evens everything out. Every story goes through a peer review process of consensus building and that takes time. That is how we build every project. With right story.
If that sounds like something you want to bring into your next project, let’s start a conversation.
