We are a full-service social good creative studio that provides content creation, brand development, production design, and web development that blends ancient wisdom with modern innovations, using Indigenous Knowledge systems and ways of being as the foundational story for seeing, thinking, and doing things differently.
Founded by award-winning documentary photographer and Andrew D Flanagan and elder Dig Jones, Earth Legacy’s creative approach is rooted in collective knowledge and collaborative practice. Using traditional sense making processes, we set traditional Indigenous wisdom and ancient ways of knowing into the foundation of all our projects. This approach transforms how we approach our work and the lasting impact it has. We focus not on the What but on the How, not the Things but the Processes. By doing so, create a stronger foundation for all aspects of our creative work; that flows out into our clients, and their customers, and with each project come one step closer to the goal of bringing everyone back into their role as custodians of creation, living in harmony with the land and each other. This is our mission, and this is our legacy.
The only thing we can leave behind for all those coming after are the tools - and the only tools that will last and always be relevant is Good Story.
What. Who. Where. & Why.
It's not about the What, but the How. Not the Things, but the Processes. The Why we do it this way and the lasting effect it can have over the next 7 generations that sets us, and the work we do apart.
As a full-service digital studio, we offer everything from web design and branding, to photography and film, editing, writing, consultation and traditional knowledge integration. That is the key, the center point, of all our work. That is at the core that drives every shutter click, every line of code, every layout, every event, and every interaction.
Indigenous Knowledge carries the patterns, systems, methods, and protocols necessary to save the world, and we integrate this wisdom into everything we do. Our studio brings together First Nations creatives and their allies from around the world, uniting around a digital campfire to craft a future where every story is heard, every voice is valued, and every action is a step towards a more just and regenerative world.
We start with Wangu, what can best be translated into collective sense making, where we all come together, sitting around the same campfire, sharing stories and lore and letting your project emerge from that process. This foundational connection to place, community, and spirit guides every aspect of the work we do - and it is what sets it apart, and is what will set you apart.
Our Vision. Our Mission. Our Legacy.
Giving is not just an action but a way of being. It's about honoring the interconnectedness of all life and recognizing our responsibility as custodians of creation, to our family, our community, and our planet.
In the language of the central desert people of Australia, is a concept of Napagi Napagi. Translating to Give Give is more than words, it embodies a deep sense of reciprocity and giving, where there is no give and take, just pure giving. This drives our decision to operate as a social good creative studio, to give, to both our clients, the community we work in, and all entities, human and nonhuman in the landscape.
Through our photography, we capture more than just images; we capture stories, traditions, and the essence of communities. Our films are not just visual narratives; they are a testament to the resilience and beauty of cultures. In our writing and design, we aim to amplify voices that have long been silenced, sharing stories that connect us to our past and inspire us for the future. At the same time as meeting your needs, these things, these ways of approaching your work, are the foundational structures to how we operate, and it allows you to stand on a stronger structure, and connect on a deeper level with the people you want to reach. At the same time, knowing your work with us is doing good elsewhere in the world.
Through our sister agency, the ITA Foundation, we extend our reach to those who may not have access to services, offering financial support probono consultations and project, and extend that to mentorship programs, educational resources and collaborations. This allows us to empower individuals and communities, helping them to reclaim their narratives and shape a brighter future.
Our commitment to giving back is not just a part of our work; it's a part of who we are. It's a reminder that by coming together and supporting one another, we can create a world where all voices are heard, all stories are valued, and all people are given the opportunity to thrive.
Telling good story that is rooted in place, in truth, and in lore. That is how we change the world. That is how we leave a real legacy.
Our work isn’t just about making things look good; it’s about weaving stories that matter and creating connections that ripple out into the world, far beyond the digital realm. We craft experiences with people and brands, stories rooted in Good Story and Right Way, urgently needed in a world that has lost its way.
We don’t just approach creativity; we live it, breathe it, understand it as a web of interconnections. Every project is a thread in a vast tapestry, each stitch a reflection of our interconnectedness, drawing from the spaces in between that bind us all together. When we design a website, capture a photograph, or edit a film, we are mindful of the ripples we create, the stories we tell, and the legacy we leave.
We begin with the traditional ways, grounding our work in the wisdom of the land and its people. Collaborating with First Nations creatives, we align our vision through their teachings, their stories, their ways of seeing the world. This isn’t just a starting point; it’s the heart of everything we do.
The result? Work that doesn’t just connect but resonates, like a drumbeat felt deep in the chest. Stories that aren’t just told but are lived, experienced, and remembered. It’s about creating echoes that travel through time, touching hearts and minds, and weaving a tapestry of connection and meaning that endures.
Everything is interconnected in this world. Everything is in relation. Or at least it should be.
We strive to create work that reflects this interconnectedness - which is why we have what we are calling a holistic approach to creativity. We understand that whether we are designing a website, capturing a photograph, or editing a film, we consider the impact our work will have on the environment, the community, and future generations.
This comes through stories. Storytelling is at the heart of all indigenous cultures, and its the traditional stories that come from the land, that are rooted in place, with lore, that have the power to inspire, educate, and transform.
Our approach to knowledge and governance mirrors the fractal pattern of custodial relations found in Indigenous cultures around the world. From individual connections to broader tribal networks, we operate as a collective of collectives. We bridge common protocols across cultures, reviving forgotten traditions for those seeking to reconnect, and to take those first steps in bringing everyone back under the lore of the land - and that starts with the work we do.
By incorporating these ways of creating work, of sharing story, braiding it into your business' framework, you can not only produces exceptional products and work, but also contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive future, and be a part of a conversation we all desperately need to have.
The stories we tell resonate in ways that go beyond words – they touch something deep inside, something that can’t quite be named but is felt. This is the magic gifted to us by our old people, the wisdom that flows through time. This is how we make real, lasting impact. With good story. Right story.
This is how we become part of a legacy that endures for generations to come.

Take a seat by the fire, bring your story round, and be a part of the legacy.
We are the inheritors of the wisdom of three generations past. The caretakers of the legacy we will leave for three generations to come. What will your contribution to the story be?
We’ve all heard the phrase “sitting in front of the fire.” But think about it – if you’ve got a hearth in the wall, there’s only one front. Now, imagine sitting around a fire. Where’s the front? You might think you’re in the front, but the person on the other side is in front too. It balances everything out, and evens the playing field. Every story we tell, every project we build, goes through this process of consensus, a kind of peer review that takes its time. That pulls on stories told and lessons learned over deep time. This is how we create, with the right story at the heart of it. All sitting around the fire.
This is your open invitation.
